Introducing the ‘Pocket Art Gallery’ App

The Great British Art Debate is now in its fourth and final year. To celebrate a fantastic collaboration between all of the GBAD partners, we decided to make a free iPhone app called ‘Pocket Art Gallery’ to showcase artworks from each of the galleries.

Pocket Art Gallery aims to encourage YOU to take artworks out of the gallery and place them in your surroundings whether that’s your kitchen wall or the local park.

Take your time and browse through the 100 works kept within the app for your favourites and curate your own mini collection, then look through the iPhone camera to see the artworks hung in the real world.

If you like what you see, take a photo and share your creation with the world via twitter, Facebook or the Pocket Art Gallery map. What will your Pocket Art Gallery look like and where in the world will you place it?

Download Pocket Art Gallery  from the Apple App store Today.
